Panther Pets of the Week

Panther Pet highlights pets available for adoption from the Humane Society of York County. Check out the pets of the week below:

Cat of the week

•        This amazingly handsome tabby is Phillip.

•        You can find this big boy hanging out in the Cat Lounge

•        He came to the HSYC as an owner surrender at no fault of his own.

•        He is estimated to be just over 5 years old and he’s ready to MEET YOU!

•        He’s quite the talker and wants your full attention when you come visit our Cat Lounge.

•        He greets you with rubs, love & stories.

•        He is cat friendly.

•        Phillip is neutered, vaccinated to his age, micro chipped and tested.

•        If this amazing boy grabs your heartstrings, call to make an appointment – 803-802-0902.

Let’s see if a wonderful connection is made!!!

REMEMBER:

  1. Please don’t give a life as a gift.
  2. Though it is an amazing gift to the pet, make it a family decision and understand the commitment level involved.
  3. It’s a wonderful way to get the whole family involved in the care and love of adding a pet to your family.
  4. All members of the family that live in the household must be at the appointment.
  5. Transition time for our FURfriends may vary. Give them the time they need to adjust. You won’t regret it.

Dog of the week

•        This handsome boy is Tyler.

•        Tyler came into the HSYC as a stray.

•        Tyler is estimated to be an almost 3 years old hound mix.

•        He has been at the rescue now over 9 months too long.

•        What we’ve learned is rescue life is not for this boy.

He is a little anxious with all the activities.

He would love to be your one and only fur baby where he is engulfed in your world.

He loves his car rides and does great on walks though he’s a strong boy so a dog savvy person would be needed!

•        He is ISO someone willing to walk, run, jog, hike, and/or play the energy out of him so he can relax!

•        If Tyler grabs at your heart, please call to make an appointment 803-802-0902.

REMEMBER:

  1. ALL members of the household will need to come to the appointment.
  2. Our Adoption parameters can be found on our website www.humanesocietyofyorkcounty.org.
  3. Dog adoptions are within a radius of 30-45 minutes due to home visit requirements.
