Panther Pet highlights pets available for adoption from the Humane Society of York County. Check out the pets of the week below:

Cat of the week

• This stunning girl is Treasure! All Black with gorgeous green/ yellow eyes that pierce your heart.

• She was adopted earlier this year and returned at no fault of her own.

• She is estimated to be about 1 year and 7 months old.

• She is stunning, sweet, loves to play. Thoroughly enjoys watching the birds from the window.

• You’ll find Treasure at our Rescue in the Cat Lounge were she enjoys the company of other feline friends.

• She has been at the rescue for the second time for 67 days too long.

• Let’s find her that PURRfect person, couple, family to be her TRUE FURever!

• I often tell folks my cat story… My boy is 22 years old …. I’m so fortunate to have him for so long but take this into consideration when considering adding a FURfamily member to your family.

o This is a commitment for the life of the pet!

• If Treasure grabs your heart like she has ours, call us today to make an appointment 803-802-0902.

Ø Remember all members of the family that live in the household must be at the appointment.

Ø  REMEMBER: transition time for our FURfriends may vary. Give them the time they need to adjust. You won’t regret it.

Dog of the week

  • This adorable dude is Tipton!
  • He’s at this past weeks POP Hike and can hardly contain his excitement about pupocinas!
  • As you can see, he is the PERFECT SIZE!
    • He is a big dog fun in a smaller body.
  • He came to the HSYC as a stray.
  • What we’ve learned of this cutie patootie is …
    • He definitely has some hound in him.
    • He is funny, playful, dog friendly and a great companion.
    • He loves car rides, walks and his play group of fur friends.
    • He’d make a great family dog.
  • We estimate his age to be just over 2 years old.
  • He’s been waiting as patiently as he can for 48 days too long.
  • Remember: Rescue pooches need time to adjust, time to potty train, time to acclimate.
    • Be patient and your VERY BEST FRIEND will emerge before your very eyes!
  • If Tipton grabs your heart, please call today to make an appointment 803-802-0902.
